AUR graduates
Our new Accelerate institutions from Ireland, Italy and Jamaica

We are welcoming April with four new institutions on Accelerate—Griffith College, Institute of Technology Carlow, American University of Rome and University of the Commonwealth Caribbean. They are the latest addition to our growing number of partner institutions on the platform since its launch. We have 30 institutions on Accelerate so far!

Griffith College

Griffith College is Ireland’s largest independent third level institution with three bustling campuses—Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Since 1974, it has been delivering first-class lectures and excellent study material across its internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.

Griffith graduates have gone into distinguished careers around the world in the fields of accountancy, business, computing, design, law, media, music and drama.

The Dublin campus spans 7 acres and offers a variety of state-of-the art facilities that enhance the learning experience. The Cork campus offers students a relaxed and productive atmosphere due to the open-door policy of lecturers and the friendly relationship between students and staff. The Limerick campus is located in a vibrant, student-focused city that offers a supportive learning environment for students.

Institute of Technology Carlow

IT Carlow is a learner-centred higher education provider offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a variety of fields such as business, law, humanities, science, sport, engineering and many others.

It is a community of more than 9,000 students from all over the world, making it one of the largest institutions in Ireland.

At IT Carlow, students engage in professional practice as part of their studies because of work placements, industry projects and clinical placements. Graduates go on to establish meaningful careers across the globe equipped with internationally recognised qualifications. They are employed in top companies around the world in industries such as computing, pharmaceuticals and finance.

American University of Rome

The American University of Rome (AUR) is an American degree-granting institution founded in 1969 that provides a strong liberal arts education to students from around the world. It has a diverse student body who represent 60 countries. 28 different native languages are spoken by both students and staff on campus. AUR prepares students to thrive as professionals across cultures.

All of its 10 bachelors and three masters degrees are taught in English. Each program is interdisciplinary by nature and combines theory with practice through internships as well industry partnerships. Many professors even take students around the city of Rome for on-site visits as part of their lectures, making the study experience truly one of a kind. AUR is a not-for-profit institution, offering relatively affordable tuition.

The campus is located in the city's highest hill, giving students a breathtaking view of Rome. Home to only 500 undergraduate and postgraduate students, AUR provides a welcoming, close-knit environment due to the low student-to-faculty ratio.

University of the Commonwealth Caribbean

The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) is the largest non-affiliate privately held premier higher education institution in Jamaica. It offers students world-class education and support from highly qualified faculty and staff. It has various programs that include the fields of human resource management, information technology, marketing, hospitality, business, finance, logistics, psychology, communication and more.

UCC's mission is to develop responsible, well-informed graduates who will contribute to the community and to the world. It is the only higher education institution in Jamaica to be accredited by both the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) and the UK's Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC).
